The Free Clinic has opened a second Health Center to better serve the needs of the St. Petersburg community. The South St. Petersburg Health Center provides better access for patients in south Pinellas County to address and manage a wide range of medical conditions and to improve their overall health.

An on-site nurse practitioner and a number of health care volunteers will provide free health and wellness services, ranging from routine exams to diabetes management, for uninsured adults.

The most common areas of concern for our patients are diabetes and cardiovascular disease. The Health Center provides diabetic screenings and health education to help patients better manage their conditions.

Last year, the Health Center provided over 9,300 basic health and wellness services – like health screening and physical therapy – for free. We plan to serve to even more neighbors in need this year with the addition of this second location.

The South St. Petersburg Health Center, located in the Davis Bradley Community Involvement Center at 1735 Martin Luther King Jr. St. South, will be open Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
