The We Help Services Food Pantry is committed to remaining open during this unprecedented health crisis. For everyone's health and safety, we are offering pre-bagged items in an expedited manner via an outdoor mobile distribution plan, which means no waiting room, and no long waits. If you are in a car, please enter the large tent in our parking lot from 8th st/3rd ave N. If you are on foot or bicycle, look for the walk-up station tables in the front are of the parking lot near the 3rd ave N entrance. Please wear a mask if you have one and be aware of your proximity to others, to allow appropriate distancing and ensuring the safety of all involved.

Clients should bring identification for themselves and anyone else in the household in need of food. Clients will need documentation indicating full name, date of birth and current address. Clients may utilize the food pantry once per calendar month.

We are currently assisting clients with the fees to obtain a Florida Identification Card. Clients need to have an appointment scheduled with the Tax Collector's Office prior to receiving assistance. If you need help scheduling an appointment with the Tax Collector, call (727) 821-1200 ext. 126. Clients will need to bring their original birth certificate (no photocopies) and two pieces of mail indicating their current address.

Documentation requirements for birth certificates vary by state. Clients should bring any identifying documentation they have (at least three) showing their name, date of birth and current address, such as benefits paperwork, utility bills, social security card, medical records, etc.

We Help assists with $100 of the water bill. Assistance is available once every twelve months, and in most cases can be done over the phone. Please call 727-823-3471 ext 115 to schedule an appointment.

We assist with bus transportation for new, verifiable, permanent employment. Currently, due to COVID-19, bus services are free for everyone.

We also offer a bike assistance program, which gives bikes to individuals who have verifiable, permanent employment. Please call 727-821-1200 ext. 126 for information about eligibility requirements.

The Men's Residence provides a safe place to stay as well as intensive case management to single men in recovery from substance abuse, as they work toward their goal of self-sufficiency. This is a long term facility where men stay an average of 6-9 months and work closely with a case manager.

The Virginia & David Baldwin Women’s Residence provides a safe place to stay as well as intensive case management to single women in recovery from substance abuse, as they work toward their goal of self-sufficiency. This is a long term facility where women stay an average of 6-9 months and work closely with a case manager.

The Family Residence is our homeless family transitional residence. Families stay an average of 1-3 weeks and work closely with a navigator to return to a stable housing situation.

St. Petersburg Family Residence operates as part of the Juvenile Welfare Board’s Family Service Initiative. Referrals for family assistance can be made to 2-1-1, where appropriate referrals will be made. The Family Residence does not accept any direct referrals for shelter or services.

The Health Center is our clinic that treats adults aged
 18–64 without private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and who do not qualify by low income for county health care.
