EmergU

Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we have observed a crisis that is causing a significant impact on low wage workers across the Tampa Bay area.

Project LINK implemented a telehealth program titled ‘eMergU’ Telehealth. EMergU Telehealth is an online teletherapy platform accessible via a smartphone, tablet, or desktop, that will provide access to No Cost mental healthcare for Tampa Bay area workers and their families. eMergU Telehealth offers HIPAA-compliant video sessions, voice calls, live chats, and messages.

This program target residents of Hillsborough and Pinellas counties who may be dealing with stress, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts and other challenges brought on by COVID 19 pandemic. Individuals seeking counseling can visit www.emergu.org, complete a brief assessment, and will be assigned a licensed counselor within 24 hours to help set goals and work through their mental health and life challenges. Patients are able to receive up to three NO COST sessions.

After completing 3 sessions, individuals may continue with their counselor at their own expense. For more information, please visit https://www.emergu.org/
