Help Me Grow is currently providing educational resources for crisis learning and assisting with basic needs. Their hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5:00. Early Learning Coalition to expand School Readiness program in Pinellas County
The Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County is excited to announce it’s offering over 1,000 additional School Readiness scholarships to families with children, ages 0-12, in Pinellas County.
The Early Learning Coalition’s School Readiness program pays a portion of tuition for children from low-income, working families and those with other risk factors that influence healthy child development. Parents pay a fee based on their household income. Access to affordable care is critical so parents can work to support their families.
The School Readiness program is not just child care. Providers use age-appropriate curriculum delivered by trained early childhood educators that work closely with parents to assess developmental achievements. The program’s play-based learning environments and nurturing care foster a child’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Parents can choose the best setting to meet the needs of their family. Child care services are available at contracted private preschools, family child care homes, school-age care providers and faith based schools.

Clothes to Kids
- To schedule an in-person shopping appointment for our Clearwater and St. Pete stores, please call 727-441-5050.

- Complete a Clothes To Go form and request a wardrobe curbside.
Each wardrobe whether shopping in-person or through our Clothes To Go program can include: 5 pairs of underwear, 5 pairs of socks, 5 tops, 4 bottoms, 1 dress (optional) and a pair of shoes. If your child attends a uniform school they may receive up to 3 uniform tops and 2 uniform bottoms.
At this time, we are not requiring your child’s free or reduced price lunch letter but ask that you respect our guidelines:
- Your child must live and attend school in Pinellas or Hillsborough County. We currently serve kids in PreK4-12th grade (this includes traditional – in person school, home school, virtual students, private and charter school attendees, etc)
- Your child is eligible for free or reduced lunch or in crisis;
- Eligible children may shop in person OR receive two Clothes To Go bags within their twelve-month period. (i.e. any combination equaling two wardrobes per child, per 12-month period)
